Celebrate Play_May 2019

Amanda Morales June 15, 2019

Los Angeles A+D Museum annual fundraising gala + installation. Foscarini provided both the Big Bang & Gregg to enhance the exhibition experience, while being apart of an amazing space that without apology nurtures individuality, discovery, and continuous questioning. The set design for A+D Museum's annual gala was inspired by notions of childhood and home. It balanced the chaos of nature and the structure of raw building materials, likened here to a child's building blocks.

Worked as the lead contact between museum contact & manufacturer to procure/install product, while maintaining brand recognition & representation. Sourced out event opportunity to create a more intimate expression of brand involvement in supporting local design culture. 300+ attendees from the A&D industry attended this curious event with eyes wide.

SOM Lobby Install_Aug 2018

Amanda Morales August 22, 2018

Installation done for SOM using FOSCARINI Greggs. Composition curated to show Gregg shape and elevating it by taking advantage of the location being near a window that allows the reflection of light to be able to duplicate the visual presence of light.

Start Here Installation_June 2018

Amanda Morales July 20, 2018

For San Francisco Design Week 2018, I paired with the local Gensler office to co-create an installation for the Design Week Kick-off event. START HERE pressed play on imagination, inspiration, and ingenuity. We wanted this entrance of metal scaffolding to create a sense of whimsy for the attendees entering the building.

Using colorful masking tape, scaffolding, & FOSCARINI lighting elements we were able to achieve and initial walking path that created interest & brought you through to the other end while exploring our maze of colorful linework.
