Pottery Class_May 2022

Amanda Morales June 22, 2022

This event brought together a group of 12 Interior Designers from different firms to lead them in a pottery class. This provided designers with a creative outlet where the boundaries are only limiting to the material and their imaginations. Followed with drinks and snacks provided.

FOG_Jan 2019

FOG 2019 - curated annual week-long Art Show curated by SF MoMa. Foscarini exhibited in the front main entrance + A16 pop-up Restaurant to create an experience to be remembered.

The front aisle included 11 pieces called Big Bang gathered in centered arrangement to give the appearance of an undulating cloud-like formation. The arrangement was meant to peak the visitors sense of wonder, curiosity, & dream-like state upon entering the event space.

Along the opposing end, an experience was created in the whimsical A16 pop-up restaurant that played off of the wonderful wall artwork created by local SF artist Kelly Tunstall. The theme this year was Old San Francisco Victorian Revival. The Mysterio wall sconces were placed to compliment the artwork in such a way as to resemble a city light-scape. While the Plena pendants were placed front & center, over top of a bar-height table top, giving a nuance of birds flying above the city. At this small playful oasis within the fair visitors sat & enjoyed their meals while being taken to a slightly transcended version of their city.

As the main point of contact & lead for the manufacturer, I worked along side the production team in order to design/procure/ship/install product at the venue. We worked within tight deadlines to create a meaningful experience, while finding a happy medium between event signage standards/regulations & brand awareness.
