Sustainability Week_May 2022

Amanda Morales June 22, 2022

For Sustainability week at local Bay Area architecture and design firm, AP+I, I curated a crafting workshop turning thrifted vases into what look like terra cotta vases. By adding baking soda to paint we were able to reuse items that otherwise might end up in the landfill or at best, recycled. By instructing them on the right proportions of materials and painting techniques, I was able to share a craft that could be repeated on future items in their home for reuse.
